He admires Aemond's ambition and understanding of power, and wants to be supportive (as well as to steer him away from what he views as his own mistakes).
SET 🖤🖤🖤🤍🤍 🤝 A FRIEND AND ALLY. An outside observer might say that Set encourages Homelander's worst instincts, but for Homelander, Set is the closest thing he's found to a true friend. There's something cold about Eunhyuk that Homelander doesn't entirely trust, but he trusts in it over obvious ass-kissing and false friendship. He's been obliging, after all, even if Homelander can't really get a bead on what it is that Eunhyuk wants.

Even given their relatively limited familiarity, there's a no-nonsense quality to Pierce that Homelander likes, as well as a shared delight in schadenfreude. The realization that Pierce has some powers of his own doesn't hurt, either.	ALIA ATREIDES 🖤🤍🤍🤍🤍 🪡 A SO-CALLED ABOMINATION. Having heard the accusations flung her way during the game of werewolf, Homelander feels a sort of kinship with Alia as someone perceived as a monster.
